Happy Holidays to all! The month of November was dedicated to the celebration of all our Veterans for their service and sacrifices from both them and their families. We had two Veteran Programs held on November 10th. One was held at Heritage Manor and the other at Terrebonne Place. Thank you to those that participated in celebration of our Veterans. The Hoop Shoot was held on November 16th at the Bayou Blue Middle School. We hope to be able to gain greater participation next year! Thanks to those who volunteered and continue to give their time to our organization. The Adopt-School program provided needed supplies to Coteau Bayou Blue Elementary and Terrebonne Career and Tech High School. Thanks to the Committee for their hard work. Additionally, we came in under-budget for the Cargo lift. Good job to all!
We still have until the end of the year to apply for both the Gratitude and Spotlight Grants. Please provide the Board with your thoughts and suggestions.
Don’t forget the Elks Memorial Ritual Ceremony to be held on Sunday, December 1st. The Christmas Parade will be held on December 7th. The Downtown Main Street demonstration will be held on December 14th after which we decided to hold our Christmas Party at 6 pm.
